Memorial services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, February 15 at the Anchorage City Church, 1301 West 100th Avenue.
Teresa was born July 6, 1950 in Bluffton, Ohio to John and Glenna (Peterson) Mitchell. She moved to Alaska in 1951 where her family homesteaded. She worked as a Geo-Tech Aide with Conoco Phillips. She loved to sing, enjoyed doing crafts, and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her children and their spouses, Duskianna and Jamison Hill and Jacob and Laura Gorup; five grandchildren, Yasmine, Tyler, Zoe, Chase, and Tatum; her mother, Glenna Mitchell; and two sisters, Linda Lamoreaux and Evelyn Sampson.
She is preceded in death by her daughter, Kori Gorup; her father, John Mitchell and her brother, James Mitchell.
