Lifelong Alaska resident Johnny C. O'Domin, 66, passed away at the Alaska Native Medical Center in Anchorage, AK on August 1, 2014. Johnny was born on January 20, 1948 in Chignik - one of Nick and Oxcenia O'Domin's 18 children. Johnny lived most of his life in Chignik Lake with his later years in Anchorage. He was a retired commercial fisherman. His friends and family said he was a good, nice man that was willing to help in any way he could and that he will be missed dearly. He is survived by his children Jolene, Allen, Jonathan and Wayne; grandchildren Donna, Megan, Torrie, Nicholas and Helena; brothers Nick, Charles, Tom, Rodney and Dick; sisters Susan, Dora, Nina, Rona, Marlene, Inez and Diane. He was preceded in death by son John; former wife Leona; parents Nick and Oxcenia; brothers James, David, Roderick and Harold; and sister Annie. A visitation will be held at the St. Innocent Cathedral 401 Turpin St, Anchorage, AK on August 7th at 1:00pm followed by a 2:00pm Memorial Service officiated by Archpriest John Zabinko and burial at the Anchorage Memorial park Cemetery. Pallbearers include Jonathan O'Domin, Warren O'Domin, Vince Shangin, Jorge Rodriguez, Byron Rogers and Nicholas Kalmakoff. A potluck gathering will be held at the St. Innocent Cathedral following the Funeral and Burial Service. Arrangements are with Janssen's Evergreen Memorial Chapel.
