Edward E. Clark, 83, died at home on Feb 9, 2013. He was born October 23, 1929 in Worland, WY.

Ed joined the Air Force just out of high school in 1946 and shipped out to Elmendorf AFB in Alaska. After a three year enlistment he went into the Civil Service, still at Elmendorf, and worked on aircraft and performed aviation accident investigation from 1949 to 1970. He made numerous trips into the bush, some of which were adventurous such as riding in jet fighters and the recovery of ordinance at a crash site. During this time he saw the transition from propeller aircraft to the jet age.

After Ed's government service he went into business in 1969 to start Boniface Chevron where he worked until 1991. Ed left the business to provide nine years of care for his wife, who had significant medical issues.

Ed enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing, and woodworking. His pets over the years became members of the family and were adored.

Ed was preceded in death by his wife Robin, maiden name Gladys Robinson; son Stephen; brothers Robert and Walter; sisters Gertrude, Dorothy, Virginia, and Lillian, and parents Ed and Katherine Clark. He is survived by brother Donald of Worland, WY.

Ed helped others in ways that changed their lives and he was giving of his resources. He is missed by those who knew him.
