Kerry Byes

Kerry M. Byes entered into eternal rest on Monday, January 13, 2014 at Seattle Highline Medical Center. Kerry was born into this world 40 years ago on March 14, 1973, in New Orleans, LA to the late Pamela Patterson and the late Horace Byes Sr. He moved to Anchorage, Alaska in 1999.

Kerry's past employers were Glacier Painting and Decorating, Continental Auto Group and Kendall Automotive Services.

He enjoyed going on cruises, the great tasting food of New Orleans, music and singing; but most of all he loved his wife and family. He was honest and kind; he treated everyone with respect and had a positive stimulating personality that would light up the darkest room. People were attracted to his humor, laughter and kindheartedness. He was a man of a humble character and lived a spirit led life. He was proven trustworthy, upright and courageous.

Kerry was a believer and loved the Lord Jesus Christ with all his being. His life was evident of a true relationship with Christ.

Kerry is preceded in death by his parents, Horace Sr. and Yvette Byes, and Pamela Patterson (his biological mother). He is survived by his wife, of 10 years Nicole M. Byes, Anchorage, AK; beloved brother, Horace Byes Jr. (Rose), sisters, Dawn Byes and Lisa Williams (Greg), grandmother, Bertilla Evans; and host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

A memorial service celebrating his life will be held at New Season Christian Center, 639 W. International Airport Rd, on Saturday February 1, 2014 at 11 a.m. Pastor Greg McCormick will officiate and a reception will follow immediately after.
