Juanita Raquel Lolesio, 19, passed away on Jan. 15, 2018, at Alaska Regional Hospital. She was born on June 22, 1998, in Anchorage, Alaska.
Juanita graduated from West Anchorage High School, and was working at Sephora. Her interests included being a fashionista, cosmetology and cheerleading.
Her family states: "Juanita was a loving, independent, outgoing and family-oriented soul. So young and full of life! She is ever so loved and now sorely missed."
She was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Oscar Guajardo and Anna Lopez; fraternal great-grandparents, Ioana and Tala Atualevao; great-grandfather, John Bustamante, and Fagaese Siatunu'u; cousin, Precious Alex-Talamaivao; and other family members.
She is survived by her parents, Juan Sr. and Pasha Lolesio; mother, Erica Guajardo Lolesio; sisters, Selena and Jaydeen Lolesio; brothers, Miguel Evans, Fredrico and Matheo Johnson, Juan Jr. and Jalen Lolesio; fraternal grandparents, Atonio Sr. and Teresita Lolesio; maternal grandmother, Terry Gamage; and a multitude of aunts, uncles and cousins.
A family viewing will be held from 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2018, at Janssen's Evergreen Memorial Chapel. Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 2, 2018, at St. Anthony Parish.
Arrangements are with Janssen's Evergreen Memorial Chapel.
