Jody Donald Johnson
ST. HELENA ISLAND, SC - Memorial services for Jody Donald Johnson, will be held on Tuesday, May 26, 2015, at South Aiken Baptist Church. Officiating will be Rev. Michael Dyar. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Monday, May 25, 2015 at the Historic GEORGE FUNERAL HOME.
Mr. Johnson, 37, of St. Helena Island, passed away on Friday, May 22, 2015. Born in Camden, SC, he was a son of Donnie Ray and Kathy Miles Johnson. Jody was an avid fisherman who never met a stranger. He was a manager with West Marine. Jody was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Cleo T. and Mary Katheleen Johnson, his maternal grandparents, John and Becky Hornsby, aunts, Faye Massebeau and Linda Compton and a cousin, Tal Johnson.
Survivors include his parents, Donnie Ray and Kathy Johnson of Aiken; a sister, Christy Johnson Allen (David) of Beech Island; nieces, Kaitlyn and Evelyn Allen, both of Beech Island; a nephew, Zachary Allen of Beech Island and a step-grandmother, Sarah Hornsby of Elgin, SC.
