Pearlean M. Kitchings
WAGENER - Mrs. Pearlean M. Kitching was called on to her heavenly home on July 18, 2017 after a brief illness. Pearlean was born to the late Jackson and Rosabell S. McCullough on April 26, 1926.
Mother Kitchings was employed by Dr. & Mrs. Robert Worrell as well as Mr. & Mrs. Colby (Bud) & Lawana Furtick for many years. She was then employed by the County of Aiken as a Custodial Supervisor and after retiring from there she went to work at the Wagener Post Office.
Pearlean was united in Holy Matrimony to L. J. Kitchings in 1946 and to this union 10 children were born.
She leaves to cherish her many beautiful memory: 9 children, Perrie (JoAn) Kitchings, Judy (Lewis) Johnson, Loretta (Pastor Herman) Bing, Lewis (Brenda) Kitchings, Elonzo (Janice) Kitchings, Diane K. Buckson, Allen Kitchings, Debra Kitchings and Rosa (Earl) Jones. Twenty-three (23) grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren. One sister, Annie L. Anderson, and a host of other family members, and friends.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Pearlean will be held at Saron Baptist Church on Saturday, July 22 at 11am. The family will be receiving friends at the J.H. Robinson Funeral Home on Friday July 21 from 6 to 8 pm.

I am thankful that my grandmother charged Aunt Pearlean to care for my dad and Uncle James. My daddy loved her and Uncle LJ so much, and so did I. I am gonna miss you.

My deepest sympathies to all of the family of Mrs. Kitchings. As I former co-worker of Elonzo's, I fondly remember Mrs. Pearlean's red velvet cake that Elonzo brought to the office.
