Adeline Kladivko
AIKEN, SC - Mrs. Adeline "Dolly" Kladivko, 86, beloved wife of sixty-two years to the late Mr. David Kladivko, entered into rest on Thursday, October 22nd, 2015.
Born in Vineland, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Leon and Armeda Giacamelli Vit. She obtained her Bachelors in Chemistry from Chestnut Hill College. She raised her children in New Jersey, Ohio, and Pennsylvania prior to moving to Florida where she and her husband owned the Enchanted Mermaid Gift Shop on Sanibel Island. They relocated to Aiken, SC in 2009. She and her husband took their children on annual camping trips throughout the country. She was a former Cub Scout Den Mother, and enjoyed crocheting and crafts and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, family members include her children, Dr. Eileen Kladivko, West Lafayette, IN, Dr. Deb Kladivko and her husband, Bob Wiesner, Aiken, SC, Dave Kladivko and his wife, Debbie, Perkasie, PA, and Kurt Kladivko, Aiken, SC; brother Lou Vit and his wife Marie; grandchildren, Rebecca Wiesner Carver and her husband, Daniel, Rob Wiesner and his wife, Elise, and Chris Baker and his wife, Amelia and great-grandchildren, Mason and Merynn Baker.
The family held a private memorial service.
