Alberta Kneece Mobley
AIKEN, SC - Alberta Kneece Mobley, 95, passed away on August 27. She was preceded in death by her parents Martin Kesler Kneece and Bebe Hay Kneece, sister Bebe Woodward, brother Eugene Hay Kneece and sister-in-law Delores Kneece Thomas.
She is survived by daughters Linda Markovich (Tom) of Anderson and Rose Grogg (Richard) of Graniteville, as well as grandchildren Richard M. Grogg and Robin Grogg and great-grandchildren Kieara, Kaliyah, Madyson, and Ryan. Also surviving are brother-in-law Norman Woodward and 7 nieces and nephews.
She was a lifelong resident of Aiken County and a lifelong member of First Baptist Church. She served in World War II as a clerk in the Women's Army Corp and worked for a number of years at Tri Development Center which served special needs children.
Memorial Service will be held at First Baptist Church on Wednesday August 31 at 1:00 pm in the church parlor. Memorials may be made to Aiken's First Baptist Church, 120 Chesterfield Street, Aiken 29801.
