Allen James Campbell "A.J. "
Aiken - Mr. Allen James Campbell, 45, of Aiken, SC, affectionately known by his family and friends as, "A.J.", entered into rest on Thursday, November 15, 2018, from injuries he received doing what he loved, riding his Harley.
Born in Rochester, NY, he had been an area resident since 1983. A member of the Heavy Equipment Operators Union Local #470, he was a Mechanic, currently working at SRNS. A.J. was a kind, loving and caring soul who was always willing to help someone in need. He enjoyed riding his Harley, boating, waterskiing, being outdoors and working on projects. Live to Ride A.J...Ride to Live. More than anything however, he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his girls, Sorelle, Vanessa and Delaney Campbell, all of whom, reside in Aiken, SC.
In addition to his daughters, family members include his mother and step-father, Lori and Marty Boatwright, Aiken, SC; father, David James Campbell, Rochester, NY; sister, Brandi Saylor and her husband, Robert, Aiken, SC; nephew and niece, Brandon and Caitlyn Saylor and step-siblings, Lewis Boatwright and Phillip Tommy Boatwright, Aiken, SC.
The family will greet friends on Saturday, November 17, 2018, beginning at 5 o'clock at Hatcher Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 3464 Jefferson Davis Hwy., Graniteville, SC. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 6 o'clock in the chapel.
Pastor Wayne Cheselka will officiate.
It has been requested by the family, that flowers be omitted and memorials be made to an educational fund that will be established for his children. You may donate at any branch of First Citizens Bank, under the name of Rene Campbell, the mother of A.J.'s children.
