Amber Gray
WARRENVILLE, SC - Mrs. Amber Renee Gray, 28, of Warrenville, SC,
affectionately known as "Faye", wife of Mr. Brian H. Gray, entered into rest on Saturday, January 7, 2017.
Born in Augusta, GA and a lifelong resident of Aiken County, SC, she was the daughter of David and Debbie Herron Gregory, Gloverville, SC. Her love for children, especially special needs children, was evidenced by the fact that she was a Special Ed Teacher's Aide at Gloverville Elementary School and enjoyed being involved in Vacation Bible School at Midland Valley Community Church of the Nazarene, where she was a member. Amber was a member of HOSA at the Aiken County Career Center and was a recipient of the Dollars for Scholars scholarship.
In addition to her husband and parents, family members include her son, Trent Carter Gray, brother, David Ryan Gregory and his wife, Christina, Warrenville, SC; grandparents, Jewel Elkins, Gloverville, SC, who was Trent's caregiver, who Trent called, Nanny Elkins, Ralph Herron and his wife, Vicky, Clark Hill, SC, and Lottie Gregory and her husband the late Billy, Gloverville, SC; great-grandparents, the late Eunice and Leroy Carter and the late Robert and Nora Busbee, aunt, Renee Williams and her husband, Vince, North Augusta, SC, mother-in-law, Roseann Baughman, Langley, SC; brother-in-law, Clyde Dewayne Gray and his wife, Renee, Aiken, SC; niece, Avery Gray and nephews, Jason "JJ" Gregory and Landyn Gray. She is also survived by many cousins, who loved Amber dearly who Amber dearly loved.
The family will greet friends on (this evening) Wednesday, January 11, 2017, from 5 until 8 o'clock at Hatcher Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 3464 Jefferson Davis Hwy., Graniteville, SC. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, January 12, 2017, at 11 o'clock at Midland Valley Community Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Kyle Poole and Amber's cousin, who was more like an aunt, Pastor Pennye Duncan, officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Graniteville, SC. Pallbearers will be Seth Duncan, Jeff Martin, Vince Williams, Jerry Gregory, Steve Gregory and Nolan Meyer.
If so desired, memorials may be directed to a scholarship fund that will be established for Trent.
