Born in Barnwell, SC she was a daughter of Joseph Robert "Bob" Lain and the late Faye Crews Lain. As a child and into adulthood, Angela had a way with animals. She had the family horse, Trixie, who followed her around like a dog. She was a shy person, until she got to know you better; after she got to know you she would was very funny and loyal to her friends. She held a variety of jobs, she especially loved the ones with animals and children. She was a self-employed housekeeper and volunteered for the SPCA. She devoted her life to helping others. From her diagnosis, she was determined to beat cancer. She grew stronger in her faith that God's will would be done. She believed in God's passionate love, towards the end, she told Carline that God was calling her home. Not having children of her own, she adopted Harley Tufts as her own. Her nieces and nephews brought her the most joy. Anna, her niece and buddy, could make her laugh and smile when no one else could. David and Ryan were her quiet support. David, Stacey, Terry, Nicole, Justin, and Joseph always in her heart, even though she didn't see them as often as she would have liked. The family would like to extend a heart-felt thank you to the doctors and staff of Regency Hospice for their kind care and concern during these last few months.
Survivors include her father, Joseph Robert "Bob" Lain; sisters, Betty Jean (James) Wallace, Sheila (John) Lampechkun, Carline (Keith) Basey, Brenda Lain; a brother Ricky (Connie) Rule; nephews, Davis (Chrissy) Longshore, Terry Cadden, Justin (Jessica) Hillerman, David Rule, Ryan Lain, Joseph Lampechkun; nieces, Stacy Longshore, Nicole Black, Anna Rule; two great nephews, five great nieces and one great, great nephew.
