Ann Marie Fields Spires "Homemaker"
WARRENVILLE, SC - Mrs. Ann Marie Fields Spires, 69, loving wife of Mr. Hugh Wayne Spires, entered into eternal rest on November 16, 2014 in the comfort of her home.
Born February 14, 1945 in Aiken County, she was the daughter of the late Jack Fields and Edith Chriswell Smith.
She was a lifelong resident of the area and was a very active member of First Baptist Church, Bath, SC.
Mrs. Marie was an AWANA teacher, member of the Benevolence and Fellowship Committees, and was a proud member of the choir.
Mrs. Spires is survived by her husband of 53 years; her children, William Mark Spires of Graniteville and Cindy Spires Franklin (Tony) of Warrenville; her grandchildren, Kristin and Courtney Spires, of Graniteville; and her sisters, Patsy Larrabee (Paul) of North Augusta, and Mary Foltzer (Joseph) of Pylesville, Maryland.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at 1PM at Bath First Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Langley Cemetery.
Memorials may be made in her honor to the Bath First Baptist Church, Solomon's Project, PO Box 240, Bath, SC 29816.
The family will greet friends on Monday, November 17 from 5 until 7 p.m. at the Hatcher Funeral Home, U.S. Hwy. No. 1, Langley, SC.
