Mrs. Annas E. Hobbs
WARRENTON, GA - Mrs. Annas Evans Hobbs of Hwy. 80 N., Warrenton, GA entered into rest Tuesday, August 5, 2014 at Warrenton Health & Rehab, Warrenton, Ga. She was the wife of the late Rufus J. "Shorty" Hobbs. She was a precious, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She was a member of Camak Baptist Church, Camak, Ga.
Survivors include a daughter, Jean (Gary) Yount, of Aiken; four sons, Tommy (Nell) Hobbs, of Avera, GA.; Robert "Robbin" Hobbs of Warrenton, GA.; Ricky (Donna) Hobbs of Avera, GA.; and Hugh Hobbs of Augusta, GA; one brother, Bennie (Marcia) Evans of Harlem, GA.; two sisters, Shirley (James) Hillman of Stapleton, GA., and Mary Mooney of Thomson, GA; four grandchildren, Michael Yount, Leigh Anne Schmidt (William), Sarah Hobbs and Matthew Hobbs; three great-grandchildren, Landon, Lucas and Addison Schmidt, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Thursday, August 7, 2014, from 7-9 pm at Lowe Funeral Home in Warrenton, GA.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, August 8 at Little Briar Creek Church Cemetery.
