Audrey Curtis
AIKEN, SC - Beloved wife, mother and sister passed away at home after a brief illness.
Born and raised in Flint, Mi she later became a resident of Ann Arbor, Mi. There she attended First Presbyterian Church and belonged to the "Body and Soul" women's group. She loved playing tennis and tending her flower gardens. Her interest in literature lead her to work as a librarian at the Ann Arbor school system. Audrey was an avid traveler and visited museums, theaters and opera houses in the United States, Canada, and abroad. She was a member of Friends of Opera and was selected to be a docent at the University of Michigan Museum of Art.
Audrey and her husband moved to Aiken, SC in 2005 and continued to live a rich and wonderful life. She is survived by her husband of sixty-one years Edward, her children Ed and Patti, her sister Shirley Rosine and brother in law Marvin Rosine. She also leaves her wonderful neighbors and friends in Aiken. Memorial services will be held Saturday November 5th at the Cedar Creek Community Center from Noon until 2:00 P.M.
