BELLEVUE, WA - Audrey Pottmeyer died June 21, 2014 in Bellevue, WA, shortly after moving from her home in Aiken, SC to the Pacific Northwest to be closer to her family. Born in Pittsburgh, PA, on June 11, 1933, Audrey was the daughter of Eleanor and James Stevick and the oldest of their six children. She married Edward Pottmeyer on February 6, 1954 and they enjoyed a long and happy life together until his death in 2003. Audrey was a voracious reader, a fierce competitor, and a devoted mother. She was predeceased by her husband, Edward, sister Patty and brother Jim. She is survived by her aunt, Mary Kilcoyne; her sisters Peggy (Steve) Mormon, Joann (Ray) Kotewicz, Mary Ellen (Bill) Latham, and sister-in-law Ginny Stevick; her seven children Judy (Mike Sackschewsky) Pottmeyer; Edward (Dianne) Pottmeyer; Terry (Geoff Trowbridge) Pottmeyer; Anne (Adam) Rohosy; Ellen (Bob) Ernst; Patty (Paul) Gordon and Susan (Kurt) Linsenmayer; her seventeen grandchildren: Devin (Chelsey), Greg, Teddy & Kendrick Trowbridge; Audra, Emma & Hannah Linsenmayer; Ian & Quinn Gordon; Thomas & Abigail Ernst; Katie, Patricia & Anne Sackschewsky; Eddie, Andy and AJ Rohosy ; and two great grandchildren, Tenley and Teagan Trowbridge. As a child, Audrey was the beneficiary of several scholarships to attend summer camp, an opportunity she recalled with happiness and gratitude.
