B. Edna Waller
AIKEN, SC - B. Edna Waller, 84, beloved wife of Arthur H. Waller, died Friday, October 16, 2015 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. A native of Moline, IL, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Blanche Park and had lived in Aiken since 1964. Services will be private.
While Mrs. Waller's working career as a legal secretary led her to establish her own business as a court reporter, her true love was art. She began her art education in Illinois studying with Leon Eugene Wright. She also trained at the Gertrude Herbert Institute of Art in Augusta with Ed Rice and at USCA with Alvin Beyer. Her work hangs in private and public collections in several states as well as here in South Carolina. She was also a former member and past president of the Aiken Artist Guild.
Survivors, in addition to her husband, Art, include a daughter Roseanna Spano (Robert), Aiken, SC; three grandsons, John Spano (Meredith), Easley, SC, Paul Spano, Aiken, SC, Chris Spano, North Augusta, SC; two sisters, Pauline Tyner, Fulton, MO, Mary Dell Acker, Reynolds, IL.; and a special niece, Sheila Acker, Reynolds, IL, and other nieces and nephews.
