Canaan Deas
GRANITEVILLE - Canaan James Deas, precious baby boy of Andrew Bryce and Jordan Widener Deas, of Graniteville, SC, passed away suddenly on Monday, January 22, 2018.
Canaan was born on Monday, May 23, 2016, in Augusta, GA. He brought happiness to his entire family and never met a stranger. Even if he had no one to play with, he could easily entertain himself for hours and he loved being outdoors.
In addition to his mama and daddy, family members include grandparents, Lorrie and Clint Widener, Aiken, SC, Deana and Preston Powell, Graniteville, SC and John and April Deas, Trenton, SC; great-grandparents, William and Frankie Jones, Williston, SC, Ronell Scott, Langley, SC, Rosemary Arthurs, Warrenville, SC, Jeanette Deas, Eureka, SC, Michele Bryce, Aiken, SC and Lee and Joann Powell, Aiken, SC; uncles and aunts, Zeke and Jena Deas, Beech Island, SC, Chelsea and Cody Jones, Aiken, SC, Jacob Widener, Aiken, SC, Marvin and Dawn Valentine, Aiken, SC and Tori Bolt, Beech Island, SC; great-aunts and uncles, Melissa Scott, Burnettown, SC, Wade Widener, III, Aiken, SC, Christopher and Monica Arthur, Warrenville, SC and Brent and Crissy Callan, Aiken, SC, and great-great-aunts and uncles, Debbie and Steven Toole, Gloverville, SC and Stanley Bagwell, Bath, SC.
The family will greet friends on Friday, January 26, 2018, beginning at 11 o'clock at Burnettown First Baptist Church, Burnettown, SC, followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 1 o'clock. Pastor Herb Sons will officiate. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Graniteville, SC. Pallbearers will his daddy, Drew, uncle, Zeke, and grandpas, John and Preston.
It has been suggested that if so desired, memorials be made to the Children's Hospital of Georgia.
