Carol Osborne Tyree
NEW ELLENTON, SC - Mrs. Carol Osborne Tyree, 61, of New Ellenton, SC, loving wife of Ed Tyree and daughter of the late Junior and Wanda Osborne, passed Wednesday, June 22, 2016 peacefully in her home with family at her side. In addition to her husband, she is survived by daughters, Traci, Heather, and Tosha; brothers, Michael Osborne, Lloyd Osborne, Ronnie Osborne, and Kenneth Osborne; sisters, Brenda Noel, Norma Morgan, Lucy Passmore, Faye Gates, Connie Jamison, and Phyllis Stump; grandchildren, Kristen, Kayla, Karman, Derrick and Andrew; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was also blessed with a large extended family and loving and caring friends.
She was born in Richlands, VA, lived for several years in North Carolina and settled in Aiken, SC. Carol was a member of Cedar Creek Church. Before her retirement, she was a supervisor in the food service industry. She worked for many years at Stand at the Crossroads Ministry and Christ Central. After God, her family came first and foremost in her life. She loved her husband, children, and grandchildren with all her heart. She shall be greatly missed by her family and all those whose lives she touched.
A memorial service will be held in the chapel of Cedar Creek Church, 3001 Banks Mill Road, SE, Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at 10:00 AM with Pastor Phillip Lee officiating. Memorials in her honor may be sent to Cedar Creek Church or Stand at the Crossroads Ministry, 808 York Street, NE, Aiken, SC29801.
