Charles Burbage
WILLISTON, SC - Funeral services for Charles Wiley Burbage, 74, of Williston, SC will be held two p.m., Friday, March 11, 2016 at Tabernacle Baptist Church, 113 Tabernacle Road, Springfield, SC with the Reverend Gereth Heglar and Doctor Byron Edens officiating; burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from six to eight p.m., on Thursday, March 10th at Folk Funeral Home, Williston. Charles passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2016.
Born in Aiken County, SC, he was a son of the late Lawrence Leive Burbage and Lila Sheley Burbage. He was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church where he served as deacon. He was owner/operator of B & B Amusement and was a US Army veteran. Charles loved to operate a backhoe and was a man of many talents who could fix anything. Charles loved his family and will be missed by all who knew him.
Survivors include his wife, Jyanett S. Burbage of the home; a daughter, Eleanor Burbage; sons, Charles W. "Chuck" Burbage, Jr., Tommy (Nancy) Burbage, Charles Wyatt (Alice) Burbage, Bert Lawrence Burbage; sister, Evelyn Bochette; grandchildren, Andrew, Cheyenne "Ella", Nicholas, Sydney, Copeland, Charles, Lila, Laura; and a number of nieces and nephews.
