Charles Coleman
JACKSON, S.C. - Mr. Charles Coleman, 89, of Charles Street, entered into rest April 12, 2 014 at his residence. Memorial services will be held 4 p.m. Friday, April 18, 2014 at G. L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary Chapel with Denise Coleman officiating.
Mr. Coleman, a native of Norfolk, VA was a member and deacon of Valley Fair Baptist Church. He was a World War II veteran and a Longshoreman for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Ridley Coleman, Jackson, SC; a son, Lamont (Leila) Coleman, San Diego, CA; a daughter, Denise Coleman, Jackson, SC; six grandchildren, Jonah, Isaiah and Ramona Coleman, Jackson, SC, James Coleman, Ikea and Tia Wilson, San Diego, CA; a host of other relative and friends. Friends may call the residence.
