Constantine "Danny" Briatico
NORTH AUGUSTA, SC - Mr. Constantine Briatico, 83, also known as "Danny" and "Pop", beloved husband and companion of Mrs. Beverly Ann Briatico, entered into rest in the comfort of his home on Friday, June 20th, 2014, under the wonderful care of Regency Hospice.
Born in Italy, he was a son of the late Gregorio and Constanza Briatico. He was retired franchise owner from Presidents Bakery, formerly known as Murray Biscuit Company and was known to many in the area as "the Cookie Man."
A Veteran of the Korean War, he proudly served his country in the United States Army, earning the rank of Staff Sergeant. Danny enjoyed dancing with his wife, the beach and entertaining his family. He also enjoyed body building and dressing up as Santa for his grandchildren, who held a special place in his heart.
In addition to his wife and parents, family members include children, Greg (Pam) Briatico, Graniteville, SC, Connie (Bobby) Williams, North Augusta, SC, Monica (Duane) Shiver, Graniteville, SC, Denise (Robert) Morris, Graniteville, SC, Dennis (Angela) Briatico, North Augusta, SC and the late William (Patricia) Briatico, North Augusta, SC; siblings, the late Frankie Briatico and Rose Lamelza, Fort Mill, SC; sixteen grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, a host of extended family and friends and let us not forget his four legged children, Maggie and Penny Briatico.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, June 23rd, 2014, at 2 o'clock in the chapel of Hatcher Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Langley, SC, with Chaplain Mark Hudson officiating. Inurnment will take place at a later date in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Graniteville, SC.

Friends will be greeted by the family on (this evening) Sunday, June 22nd, 2014, from 6 until 8 o'clock at Hatcher Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Langley, SC.
