Debra Daye Francis
WARRENVILLE, SC - Debra Daye Francis, age 63, of Warrenville, S.C., loving wife for 22 years to Danny Francis and daughter of the late Harold Daye and the late Edna Rodgers Daye, lost her brave three year battle with cancer and entered into rest at University Hospital on Wednesday, August 3, 2016.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her mother-in-law, Fannie Lee Morey of Trenton, S.C.; a daughter and son-in-law, Kellie and Dwayne Hudson of Graniteville, S.C.; a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Jacki and Ken Marquardt of Canton, Ga.; uncles, Rev. Jimmie Rodgers of Clearwater, S.C. and L. C. Wingard of Pelion, S.C.; a special friend, Teresa Scott of Graniteville, S.C.; very special niece, Kelly Youngblood of Atlanta, G.A., and several other special nieces and nephews.
She was born in and was a lifelong resident of Aiken County, S.C. She was a member of Pauline Gospel Church in Augusta, Ga. She was also a member of the Order of Confederate Rose. She was an accomplished Pianist. She was an avid gardener, as she really enjoyed working with plants, and she also loved birds. She was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, daughter-in-law, sister-in-law, aunt, and friend. She shall be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched during the 63 years that God granted her on this earth; however, death is not the end, as God has promised eternal life for all who believe in Him. She has just left the side of her loved ones to be with her parents and Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
