AIKEN, SC - A celebration of life service for
Mrs. Delma Marie Joyce Testerman Hatfield age 85 will be held 11:00 am Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at COLE FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL with Pastor Bennie Burton officiating. Interment will be private.
She was the wife of Mr. Daniel Hatfield of Aiken, and a daughter of the late Mr. James Burlie Joyce and the late Mrs. Fannie Smith. Mrs. Hatfield was a native of Smith Ridge, Virginia and had made Aiken County her home for the past 41 years. Mrs. Hatfield was a member of the Langley Church of God.
Additional survivors include one son, Mr. James Burlie (Lois) Testerman, New Bern, NC; one brother, Frazier Joyce, Cedar Bluff, VA; three sisters, Geneva McCoy, Christiansburg, Virginia, Ruby Cordell, Scottdale PA, Norma Jean Grace, Charlestown, Maryland; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Mrs. Hatfield was also predeceased by one brother, Robert Joyce; three sisters, Bertha English, Allie Johnson, and Nell Brooks.
In lieu of flowers the family suggest that memorials be made to , P.O. Box 1000 Dept 142, Memphis, TN 38101-9908 A visitation with the family will take place at the funeral home following the service.
