Donald L. Hutto
NORTH AUGUSTA, SC - Mr. Donald L. Hutto, 62, entered into rest March 24, 2014 after battling lung cancer. Funeral Services will be conducted Friday afternoon at 3 o'clock from the Posey Funeral Chapel with Veterans Honors. Rev. Chad Carroway officiating. Interment will be private.
Mr. Hutto was a native of Augusta, having made North Augusta his home for the past 34 years. He was a U.S. Army Veteran, having served in Vietnam and retired as a Litigation Consultant from The Hartford Financial Services Group. Mr. Hutto was a motorcycle enthusiast who loved riding Honda Street Bikes. He was also an avid University of Alabama Football fan and a supporter of the Wounded Warrior Project. Above all, Mr. Hutto was a devoted husband and father.
Survivors include his lovely bride of 35 years, Elizabeth Hutto; his daughter and "baby girl", Laura Bryant (Kyle), Columbia, SC; a brother, Richard Hutto, Aiken, SC; two sisters, Cynthia Bedenbaugh, Surfside Beach, SC and Felicia Hutto, Augusta, GA. Mr. Hutto is also survived by many close friends whom he considered family.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 6 until 8.
