Doralee Virginia Gajdicar
AIKEN, SC - Mrs. Doralee Virginia Gajdicar, 82, beloved wife of twenty-eight years to Mr. Edward "Ed" Gajdicar, entered into rest in the comfort of her home, with her loving and devoted family at her side, on Friday, September 11th, 2015.
Born in Phoenix, AZ, a daughter if the late Forrest Hudson and Mary Lorene Ballard Long, she had been a resident of Aiken, SC, since 1997. She was one of Jehovah's Witnesses and was a member of the South Aiken Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.
Doralee had a sense of humor that was second to none. She enjoyed dancing, traveling and had a sense of adventure. More than anything however, she enjoyed spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, family members include her children, David Gray, Bethel, CT, Gigi Hawkins, Dobbs Ferry, NY and Steven Shirley, Aiken, SC; sister, Janice Gray, Glendale, AZ; granddaughter, Shayne Hawkins, great-grandson, Braden Hawkins and nieces, Jan Christman, Lisa Gourley and Deidre Hemphill.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, September 14th, 2015, at 6 o'clock at the South Aiken Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses, 4332 Whiskey Rd., Aiken, SC.
If so desired, memorials may be made to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness, 4332 Whiskey Rd., Aiken, SC 29803.
The family will receive friends on Monday immediately following the service at the Kingdom Hall.
