Doris T. Shupe
NORTH AUGUSTA, SC - Mrs. Doris T. Shupe, 89, wife of the late William "Bill" Shupe, entered into rest on Monday, November 30, 2015 at the National Health Care in North Augusta, SC.
Her funeral service will be held today in the Chapel at Rowland Funeral Home at 2:00 PM, December 2, 2015 with Rev. Earl Welch officiating. The interment will follow at Pineview Memorial Park.
Doris attended Bel-Ridge Baptist Church and was proud to be one of its founding members. She worked as a secretary for Brown & Radiology and retired after 35 years.
She was predeceased by her daughter Marianne. Her survivors include two granddaughters Molly Golden (Lewis), Donna Norbits (Chris); one grandson, Mark Billiter (Brandy; one son-in-law Jud Barber (Becky); and four great grandchildren, Tyler Golden, Matthew Golden, Maddie Norbits, and Libby Norbits, all of North Augusta, SC.
Pallbearers will be Ed Smith, Paul Baynham, Lewis Golden, Tyler Golden, Matthew Golden, and John Phillips. Honorary Pallbearers will be Harper Tucker, J.B. Blount, Al Woodward, Paul Hanshew, Jim Trusler, Virgil Woody, Julian Cook, Ira Collins, and Buddy Pack.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
