Earl Keenan
WARRENVILLE, SC - Mr. Earl Keenan, 71, entered into rest on Wednesday, March 2nd, 2016, in the comfort of his home, under the loving care of Regency Hospice, with his son Wes Keenan, at his side.
Born in and a lifelong resident of Aiken County, SC, he was a son of the late Frank and Inez Wood Keenan. He was formerly employed by the Graniteville Company and retried from Kimberly Clark. Earl was very active in Dixie-Youth Baseball, where he coached for many years and was also past president. He was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church and Star Lodge #99, A.F.M. Graniteville, SC. He enjoyed fishing, riding his Goldwing Trike and camping with Reulene.
In addition to his son, parents and companion, family members include a daughter-in-law, Rebecca Keenan, Rock Hill, SC. grandchildren, Rowan and Alora Keenan and his companion, Reulene Brown, Warrenville, SC. He was also preceded in death by a son, Matt Keenan.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, March 5th, 2016, at 1 o'clock in the chapel of Hatcher Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Langley, SC, with Pastor Wayne Cheselka officiating. Interment, with Masonic Rites accorded, will follow in the Historic Graniteville Cemetery, Graniteville, SC. Pallbearers will be Todd Brown, Chris Brown, Paul Scott, Jimmy Rhodes, M.D. Keenan and Grady Sanders. Members of Star Lodge #99, A.F.M. are asked to serve as Honorary Pallbearers.
It has been requested, that if so desired, memorials be made to the . (www.cancer.org)
The family will greet friends on Friday, March 4th, 2016, from 6 until 8 o'clock at HATCHER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICE, LANGLEY, SC.
