Earnest Jackson, Sr.
BEECH ISLAND, S.C. - Funeral services for Mr. Earnest Jackson, Sr., age 83, of 692 Williston Rd will be held 1 PM Saturday, August 23, 2014 at Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church, 130 Independent Blvd, Talatha Community (Viewing 12 Noon - 1PM) with Rev. C.A. Scott, Officiating and Rev. Paul Bush, Eulogist. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Earnest was the son of the late Annie Mae Walker Gardner and Sam Gardner. He was a United States Army Retired Veteran and was a retired Supervisor from Social Security Administration, Woodlawn Division, Baltimore, Maryland.
Survivors include: his devoted wife, Bertha Rouse Jackson; daughters, Lorraine Jackson Stephens (Leroy) and Annie M. DeWitt (Bryan); sons, Robert Jackson (Mary Lee) and Earnest Jackson (Dorothea Moore); eight grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Masonic Taft Lodge #283.
