Edna Farmer Bridges
BELVEDERE, SC - Memorial Services for Ms. Edna Farmer Bridges, 64, of Belvedere, SC, who entered into rest June 29, 2015, will be conducted Thursday afternoon at 3 o'clock in the Posey Funeral Chapel. Interment will be private. Rev. Milton Summerall and Rev. John Meyer officiating.
Ms. Bridges was a lifelong resident of Belvedere, SC and attended the First Christian Church of Belvedere and the First Baptist Church of Belvedere. She was retired as an office administrator from the Medical College of Georgia with 15 years of service. Ms. Bridges was a loving mother and sister. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ed and Mildred Farmer.
Survivors include her son, Joshua Bridges, Anderson, SC; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Wanda and Gary Bailey, Belvedere, SC, Pat and Steve Kovacs, Marshville, NC, Christy Compton, Belvedere, SC, Terri and Alex Rankin, North Carolina; a number of nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made in lieu of flowers to First Christian Church of Belvedere, 203 Verdery Drive, Belvedere, SC 29841 or the First Baptist Church of Belvedere, 421 Edgefield Road, Belvedere, SC 29841.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
