Elijah Glen Arnold
MARTINEZ, GA - Graveside Services for Mr. Elijah Glen Arnold, 90, who entered into rest February 27, 2014, will be conducted Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock in Pineview Memorial Park with Full Military Honors. Pastor Roy Butler officiating.
Mr. Arnold was a native of Cordele, Georgia, a former resident of North Augusta for over 60 years, having recently made Martinez his home. He was U.S. Navy Veteran of WWII and Korea and was a member of The Jesse C. Lynch Memorial American Legion Post #71. Mr. Arnold was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church and retired from E.I. DuPont at the Savannah River Site.
Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Elsie Waters Arnold; two sons, Michael G. Arnold, North Augusta, SC, and Randall Steven Arnold, Belvedere, SC; a daughter, Teresa Rodgers, Belvedere, SC; a step-son, William Andy Pate, Harlem, GA; two step-daughters, Susan Pomposini, Danville, VA and Shannan Wilson, Belvedere, SC; a sister, Dorothy Coffee, Cordele, GA; eleven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday afternoon from 4 until 6.
