Mrs. Eunice L. Quackenbush
WARRENVILLE, SC - Mrs. Eunice L. Quackenbush, wife of the late Mr. Stanley S. Quackenbush, Sr., entered into rest on Monday, February 13, 2017. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Shirley Q. Frye, three brothers: Kenneth, Jimmy, and Floyd Smith, and two great-grandchildren, Ian Shealy and Andrea "Andy" Deas.
Surviving are two daughters: Janet Q. Gregory (Larry), Aiken, SC and Rhetta D. Gray (Wade), Warrenville, SC; four sons, Adelbert M. "Bo" Quackenbush (the late Debra), Warrenville, SC, Randy M. Quackenbush (Brenda), Morven, NC, Mark A. Quackenbush (Peggy L.), Warrenville, SC and Stanley S. Quackenbush, Jr. (Susie), Warrenville, SC; a sister, Laura E. Carnell, Dillsburg, PA; a brother, Barry W. Smith, Bath, SC; eleven grandchildren and their spouses, nineteen great grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren and a life-long friend, Dot Posey.
Mrs. Quackenbush was born in Bartow, GA to the late Kendrick M. and Jewell Josey Smith. She retired from United Merchants with forty-six years of service. She was a member of Bath First Baptist Church and their Joy Group.
A Celebration of Life Service will be on Friday at 1 o'clock at Bath First Baptist Church with Pastor Herb Sons officiating. Mrs. Quackenbush will be placed in the church at noon. Interment will follow in Langley Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Sanford, Larry Jr., Kevin and Kenneth Gregory, Ryan Quackenbush and Brandon Cobb.Honorary pallbearers will be great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at the home of her daughter, Rhetta Gray, 116 Hill and Dell Drive, Warrenville, SC.
The family will greet friends on Thursday evening from 5 until 8 p.m. at the Hatcher Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 3464 Jefferson Davis Highway, Graniteville, SC.
