Rev. Everette Chandler
SALLEY, SC - Rev. Everette Chandler, the son of the late Rev. James and Izolia Chandler, was born in Aiken County, South Carolina on March 20, 1939. Rev. Chandler passed away Monday on December 5, 2016. He was the eighth of seventeen children. He joined Ocean Grove Baptist Church at an early age where he served until he was called into Ministry. As a fourth generation of Preacher and Pastors, he is counted among them that served the Lord with favor and humility.
He was united in holy matrimony to Mildred Dorothes Landy, on December 20, 1964. They were blessed with three children: Rev. Lisa Montgomery, Dea. Everette K. Chandler (Shannon) and Rev. Zanthia (Patrick) Hastings and five grandchildren: Tierra, Aliyah, Alyssa, and Patrick.
Visitation for Rev. Chandler will be held on Friday December 9, 2016 at 4 p.m. at J.H. Robinson Funeral Home; 190 RailRoad Ave. W., Wagener, S.C. 29164. Funeral Service for Rev. Chandler will be held on Saturday December 10, 2016 at 1 p.m. at Busbee Middle School, 20 Al Corbett Circle,Wagener, S.C. 29164.
