Flemming Isaiah Scott
Flemming Isaiah Scott was born in Aiken, South Carolina on July 10, 1917. He was a World War II veteran who served in Germany during the war. He went on to become a supervisor for the Town of North Hempstead Parks and Recreation Division from which he retired in 1978. He was also active in the community through his many years as a Boy Scout leader of Troop 220. In addition, Flemming was a founder of the Old Timers Day picnic in the park. He was a C.B.er who loved tinkering with electronics, planting, and camping.
Funeral service will be held at 11am on Wednesday July 22, 2015 in Hempstead, New York. Friends and family are welcome to attend.
