1st. Lt. Ford Dennis White
AIKEN, SC - 1st. Lt. Ford Dennis White, 77, United States Marine Corps Retired, husband of the late Donna Jean Hathorn White, entered into rest with his daughter, Lisa Woods and his son, Jeremy White, at his side, in the comfort of his home, on Sunday, September 13th, 2015.
Born in Tacoma, WA, a son of the late Ashley and Catherine Ford White, he had been a resident of Bossier City, LA, prior to making Aiken, SC, his home in September of 2014. He was a former Chicago Bear and always wanted everyone he met to have a blessed day. A Vietnam Veteran, he proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps, retiring after twenty years of dedicated service, earning the rank of First Lieutenant. "Semper Fi".
In addition to his wife, daughter, son and parents, family members include additional children, Judy White, Michael White, Ron White, Kathy White, the late Linda White and Terri Davis; siblings, Ashley White, Gary White and the late Barbara Antush and fifteen grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 19th, 2015, at 2 o'clock in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Haughton, LA.
It has been requested by the family, that if so desired, memorials be made to the First Presbyterian Church. (
