AIKEN - Mr. Frank Gantt Sr., age 74, of 122 Main Drive of Nicholson Village, a distinguished business owner, found eternal rest with the Lord on December 5, 2017. He was born on March 20, 1943, to the late James Gantt Sr. and the late Mr. & Mrs. Andrew & Leola Williams Sr., of Aiken, SC.
Funeral services will be held 2 PM Sunday, December 10, 2017 at Zion Hill Baptist Church, Salley, SC (Viewing 1 - 2 PM). The burial will follow in Aiken Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Gantt, preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Christi F. Gantt, and sister, Elouise Edwards. He leaves to cherish memories: his beloved daughters, Martha S. Gantt-Golson (Eddie) and Vicky Gantt; his beloved son, Frank Gantt, Jr and grandson Frank Gantt III, five sisters, Evangelist Louise Higgs, Hannah Hosey, Mary (Jessie James) Robinson; all of Aiken, SC, Ruby Gantt-Thomas (Gordon) and Mary Smith; both of Augusta, GA; brothers, Paul (Juanita) Williams, Isaac Williams, John Henry (Evelyn) Williams, James Alex Williams, Andrew Williams, Jr., Isiah Williams; all of Aiken, SC; and James Gantt, Jr.; of Augusta, GA and his aunt, Emma Mae Boylen along with numerous nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives and loving friends.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 5-6 PM.
