Frank Rowland Trowbridge, Jr.
MACON, GA - Frank Rowland Trowbridge, Jr., age 94, passed away on Tuesday, September 6th. Funeral services will be held at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Macon, Georgia, on Tuesday, September 13th, at 11 am with the Reverend Brian Henson officiating. A graveside service will be at Riverside Memorial Cemetery immediately following. Visitation will be held at Hart's Mortuary, 765 Cherry Street from 5-7 p.m. on Monday, September 12th.
Mr. Trowbridge was born in Blackville, South Carolina on June 5, 1922 to the late Frank Rowland Trowbridge Sr. and the late Nellie Rebecca Ray Trowbridge. Mr. Trowbridge was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Josephine Walker Trowbridge. Survivors include daughter Rebecca Ann Koesters (Mark) of Beavercreek, OH; and sons Frank Rowland Trowbridge III of Macon, GA; and William Howard Trowbridge (Candy) of Huntsville, AL; grandchildren, William Stuart Trowbridge (Barret), Carlene Lynn Trowbridge, Edward Louis Koesters, and two great-grandchildren. He is also survived by sister Eleanor Marguerite Guess of Denmark, SC; sister-in-law Nona Claire Trowbridge of Monroe, NC; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother James Norman Trowbridge and sister Sarah Katherine Rion.
