Mr. G. Barry Boswell
NORTH AUGUSTA, SC - Funeral Services for Mr. George Barrett "Barry" Boswell, 85, of Teal Court, North Augusta, SC, who entered into rest June 13, 2014, will be conducted Monday afternoon at 3 o'clock from St. Paul's Episcopal Church. The Reverend George D. Muir officiating. Interment in Pineview Memorial Park with Veterans Honors.
Mr. Boswell was a native Augusta, having made North Augusta his home for the past 58 years. He was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, a US Army Veteran of the Korean War and the retired owner of Schultz Hill Auto Glass. Mr. Boswell was an avid golfer and a member of the Midland Valley and North Augusta Country Clubs. He was the husband of the late Elaine Heos Boswell. Mr. Boswell deeply loved and cared for his family and was a friend to all who knew him.
Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law, Beth and Jeff Ervin, Atlanta and Reda Boswell, North Augusta; two grandchildren, Barrett Ervin and Jeffrey Ervin; a brother-in-law and his wife, Robert and Jeri Heos, North Augusta.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Lloyd McNair, Jerry O'Hara, Harry Higgins, Robert Heos, Teddy Heos and Sidney Trimmier. Active Pallbearers will be Jeffrey Ervin, Jeff Lacey, John Sparks, Bill Gibbs and Eddie Butler.
The family will receive friends at the church following the service.
Memorials may be made to St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 605 Reynolds Street, Augusta, GA 30901.
The family expresses appreciation to the Staff of Augusta Gardens and Mr. Boswell's caregivers, Brianna Ruff, Linette Piner and Eugenia Ryans.
