CLEARWATER, SC - Mrs. Gayle Rollins, 62, entered into rest on Wednesday, December 16th, 2015, in the comfort of her home.
Born in Chicago, IL, a daughter of the late Jack Dewayne and Marilyn Sue Turkette Gray, she had formerly been a resident of FL, before relocating to Aiken County, SC, forty years ago. She retired from the Hickman Division of Graniteville Company, where she was a Cloth Inspector. Gayle enjoyed working in her yard and with flowers. More than anything however, she enjoyed helping others.
In addition to her parents, family members include her children, Stephanie Lowe and her husband, Toby, Graniteville, SC, Lawanda Hendrix, Clearwater, SC, Nicole Cowart and her husband, Chris, Punta Gorda, FL and Melissa Barton and her companion, Wiley Hadden, Burnettown, SC; siblings, the late Jack Dewayne Gray, Jr., Sammy Robinson and his wife, Phyllis, Gaston, SC, Linda Cherenowsky and her husband, Jeff, NY, Metha Boyd and her Danny, Clearwater, SC, Jackie Craig and her husband, Ricky, Gloverville, SC, Laurie Ann Johnson and her husband, Albert, Bellville, FL and Dewayne Gray and his wife, Tracy, Langley, SC; grandchildren, Devin Lowe, Kylee Lowe, Chrissy Spires, Joscelyn Rollins, the late Gavin Cowart, Abbygail Cowart, Jeremy Barton and Tyler Barton and a great-grandchild, Jayden Stallings.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, December 19th, 2015, at 2 o'clock in the chapel of Hatcher Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Langley, SC. Interment will follow in Langley Cemetery, Langley, SC. Pallbearers will be Matthew Napier, Danny Boyd, Jr., Steve Boyd, Jr., Patrick Barton and Ryan Napier.
The family will greet friends on Friday from 6 until 8 o'clock at Hatcher Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Langley, SC.
