George A. Beaudoin
JACKSON, GA - George A. Beaudoin, age 87 of Jackson, GA passed away Sunday, November 6, 2016, George resided in Ridgefield, CT and Aiken, SC. He was born in Stamford, Connecticut to the late Herman J. and
Germaine Robert Beaudoin. George enjoyed reading, traveling, working on different types of projects, researching military history and The Civil War. He served in the United States Army during WWII. George was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend to many.
Mr. Beaudoin is survived by his wife of 59 years, Joan Margaret Beaudoin, of Jackson, GA; children, George (Sara) Beaudoin, of Bryon, GA, Kevin (Audra) Beaudoin, of Douglasville, GA, Megan (Andrew) Nystrand, of Jackson, GA, Amy (Glenn) Enz, of Grovetown, GA; 21 Grandchildren; 9 Great-Grandchildren; siblings, Shirley Demet, of Fort Myers, FL, Clair Meyer, of New Fairfield, CT, Joan Daignault, of Fort Meyers, FL, Michelle (Jim) Jakielo, of Wethersfield, CT. Mr. Beaudoin was preceded in death by his sister, Dottie Childsey.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, November 10, 2016 at Eagles Landing Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Georgia National Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday, November 9, 2016 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Focus on the Family, Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors, 770-914-1414.
