George Higingbottom
BATESBURG, SC - Services for George Kelder Higingbottom, 67, will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic B-L Chapel with the Rev. Alvin Jackson officiating. Burial will be private. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the 1701 North Beauregard Street, Alexandria, VA 22311.
Mr. Higingbottom passed away Monday, July 13, 2015. Born in Lexington County, he was the son of the late Wyman Kelder and Harriet Burgess Higingbottom. He was a member of St. Paul's Church and had retired from MCEC. George loved people and never met a stranger.
Surviving are his wife, Sandra Smith Higingbottom, sons, Jason (Stephanie) and Travis (Rebekah) Higingbottom, sister, Geneva H. Watts, and 6 grandchildren.
