Glenn Boyd Fretts
AIKEN, SC - Mr. Glenn Boyd Fretts, 74, formerly of Scottdale, PA, entered into rest at 1:22 am on March 21, 2014 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers.
Glenn served as a radioman in the U.S. Navy for four and a half years. In 1964 he worked for the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad at the headquarters in downtown Baltimore for approximately ten years.
He retired in 2001 after twenty seven years as a supervisor with Williamhouse, Scottdale Facility, then making his home in Aiken, SC in 2001.
He was predeceased by his parents, Glen A. Fretts and Violet Emma Shaw-Fretts, and his brother, James R. (Soup) Fretts, Connellsville, PA. He is survived by his sister, Connie F. Bodie, Aiken SC, brothers Ronald E. Fretts (Patricia), Scottdale, PA, William Fretts (Delores) of Grove City, PA, and many, many nieces and nephews, along with cousins and friends who loved and respected him. Glenn was a member of the Aiken Mended Hearts #294.
It was Glenn's wishes to be cremated and there are no local services scheduled at this time.
