Harry Tibbs
NORTH AUGUSTA, SC - Funeral Services for Mr. Harry Tibbs, 82, who entered into rest August 25, 2014, were conducted Thursday afternoon at 3 o'clock from the Posey Funeral Chapel. Rev. Jimmy Coyle and Rev. Matthew Love officiating. Interment in Pineview Memorial Gardens with Veterans Honors.
Mr. Tibbs was a native of Virginia, having made North Augusta his home for the past 56 years. He was a US Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict and a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. Mr. Tibbs retired from Ryder Truck with 26 years of service. He enjoyed fishing and working on cars.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Betty Tibbs; three sons and a daughter-in-law, Wayne Tibbs, North Augusta, SC, Don and Ronelle Tibbs, Jackson, SC and Robby Tibbs, North Augusta, SC; two daughters and a son-in-law, Anna Tibbs, North Augusta, SC and Betty Sue and Danny Holsonback, North Augusta, SC; 9 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; his faithful K-9 companion, Sandy.
Pallbearers were Jay Tibbs, Cliff Tibbs, Billy Holsonback, Sean Holsonback and Joey Hasley.
The family received friends at the funeral home Wednesday evening from 6 until 8.

North Augusta, SC 29841.
