Henry Cook
AIKEN, SC - Rev. Henry Gardner Cook, 66, of 2065 Wesson Dr, entered into rest April 3, 2017 at Augusta University. Funeral arrangements will be announced.
Rev. Cook was the pastor of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church in Wagener. He was a member of the St. Paul Baptist Church in Chester, SC and a 1968 graduate of Finley High School in Chester. He served in the US Army.
Survivors include his wife, Bertha Cook, Aiken; one daughter, Ardaina (Oneal) Nicholson, Aiken; two sons, Jonathan Gardner (Calyon) Cook, Warrenville and Joshua Henry (Leah) Cook, North Augusta; three sisters, Barbara (Alexander) Jennings, Mamie Williams, both of Rock Hill, SC and Lessie (James) Brooks, Charleston, SC; two brothers, David McKinley (Carmin) Cook, Deltona, FL and Louis "Bunny" McKinley Jr, Rock Hill, SC; 2 Grandchildren; and a host of other relatives.
