Hilda Jeanette Mainor Fulmer
TRENTON, SC - Hilda Jeanette Mainor Fulmer, age 74, of Trenton, S.C., loving wife of N.Wayne Fulmer and daughter of the late Joe and Johnie Claude Sauls Mainor, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, September 3, 2015.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by daughters, Deborah Jean Spencer and her husband, Keith of Dacula, Ga., Beverly Ann Scivally of Ganton, Ga., Zannett June Still and her husband, Dr. Brian of Villa Rica, Ga.; Elese Marie Cegelis and her husband, William, Jr. and Norma Denise Fulmer both of Graniteville, S.C.; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren; sisters, Doris "Dee" Hull and Joanne Pressley both of Trenton, S.C. and Linda Mainor of Orlando, Fla. and her beloved Yorkee, Miss Prissy. She was predeceased by her sisters, Lois Kimbrel and Jean Daniel.
She was born in Randolph County, Georgia. Jeanette was a talented lady. She reared her daughters to be gracious, loving ladies and instilled in them her talents and work ethics.
Today, her girls follow her teachings. Above all, she loved God, her girls and her family. She was a member of St. James Lutheran Church in Graniteville, S.C. She began her working career with AT&T as a long distance overseas operator in Jacksonville, Fla. and held various administrative 2nd level management positions in Miami, San Francisco and Atlanta.
However, the best job title she liked was "Mama". Until her illness, she served as a volunteer at the Aiken Regional Medical Center's Gift Shop. She was an excellent cook and seamstress and used her talents to design and complete many projects for people in the community and at her church. Jeanette's family would like to thank the entire staff and volunteers at the ARMC. Special thanks to Dr. William T. Besson, III, Dr. James D. Dillon, Dr. Miroslov Zotovix and Dr. Gregory J. Sengstock for their extra care and compassion during her final months and Regency Hospice for their service.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday evening, September 6th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. A service, celebrating her life, will be held at St. James Lutheran Church in Graniteville on Monday, Sept. 7, 2015 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Barry T. Antley officiating. The interment will follow at the historic Graniteville Cemetery.
The Active Pallbearers will be Tony Carroll, J. Larry Clark, Otis Gibson, Ronnie Gordon, Hiram J. Redd and Gilbert Vance. Members of the Archie Dodgen Sunday School Class, Members of ARMC Volunteers, Thomas Blitchington and Gaylord Drexelius will serve as Honorary Pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. James Lutheran Church, 200 Laurel Dr., Graniteville, S.C. 29829. Napier Funeral Home, 315 Main Street, Graniteville, S.C. is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
