James Bramlett, Sr.
JACKSON, SC - Memorial Services for Mr. James Bramlett, Sr., 86, of Dragstrip Road, Jackson, SC, who entered into rest August 28, 2014 will be conducted Tuesday evening at 6:30 p.m. in the Posey Funeral Chapel with Veteran Honors. Chaplain Erwin Veal officiating.
Mr. Bramlett was a native of Swainsboro, Georgia, having made Jackson his home for the past 62 years.
He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of World War II and a member of the Hopewell Masonic Lodge #127 A.F.M. for over 50 years.
Mr. Bramlett retired as a cattle farmer and was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and hunting.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Bramlett and Clera Dennard Bramlett and a sister, Edith B. Parker.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Judy Bramlett, Jackson; a sister and brother-in-law, Martha and Buddy McGiboney, Covington, GA; a brother-in-law, Henry G. Parker, Covington, GA; two nephews, Michael McGiboney (Rebecca) and Eddie McGiboney all of Covington, GA; loyal grandpup, Buster; special friends, Woody, Denise and April Stallings, Sherrie and Bobby Lewis, John Gillespi, Bo and Rhonda Harrel.
Honorary Pallbearers will be members of the Hopewell Masonic Lodge #127 A.F.M.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 p.m. until the time of the service.
