James W. Hampton
AIKEN - James Ward Hampton (Jim), our "piano man" passed away Jan 30, 2018 to be with our Lord. Jim was known for his passion for music and his ability to fix anything, but most of all, his love for his family. He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Jill (Brady) Hampton, his three children who adored him: Timothy Hampton, Lacey Hampton, and Devon Hampton; two grandchildren, Michaela and Madeline Hampton, and a great-granddaughter, Kendall. Two much-loved brothers will also miss him dearly: Joseph Hampton (Anne) of Windsor, IL and Richard Hampton (Linda) of Effingham, IL. He is also survived by an incredible host of extended family and close friends. His three Frenchies, Tigger, Maya, and Keiko will miss their nightly games and snuggles. Family and friends will celebrate his life in the coming weeks. Memorial contributions may be made at this celebration.
