Jessie Cholon Roaden
EASLEY, SC - Jessie Cholon Roaden, passed away on Sunday, August 23 in Aiken. He was preceded in death by his wife Eula Mae Nicholson Roaden.
Jessie was born in the Bark Camp community near Corbin, KY. He was the youngest son of Charles Henry and Mary Jane Roaden. He is survived by sons Kenneth (Judy), Glenn (Kay), David (Sandra), and Roy (Diane); son-in-law: Billy Chandler. He had 7 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. During his life, Jessie was ever faithful to his Lord serving as Deacon, Sunday School Teacher and Song Leader. He was a member of Hampton Heights Baptist Church. Jessie was a retired textile supervisor working for several companies including Oxford Mfg., Piedmont Shirt, Stone Mfg. and Dann Mfg. in Travelers Rest before his retirement.
Visitation will be Saturday, August 29 at 10:00 A.M. at Woodlawn Funeral Home. Services will follow at 11 A.M. He will be laid to rest in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
The family wishes to thank Anchor Health and Rehab of Aiken and Regency Hospice for their care and comfort of Jessie.
