Joe Nathan Williams
Aiken - Joe Nathan Williams, son of the late Jerry D. and late Eunice Williams was born June 15, 1939 in Barnwell, SC. He departed this life on Sunday, March 11, 2018 at Aiken Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held 2 PM Saturday, March 17, 2018 at St. Peters Baptist Church, 7110 Bay St. Elko, SC 29826 (Viewing from 1- 2 PM) with Rev. Anthony Gadson, Pastor. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.
He was proceeded in death by: his wife, Betty Toole Williams, one daughter, Latasha Williams; two grandsons, Dion Dickerson and Jonathan Dickerson, one sister: Martha Taylor; three brothers: Jerry Williams, Jr., Odell Williams, and Alphonso Williams.
Early in life he joined the St. Peter Baptist Church in Elko, SC. He attended the Aiken Country Public Schools and Retired from Owens Corning. He was married to Betty Toole Williams for fifty-four years.
He leaves to cherish his memory three daughters: Cynthia Williams Dickerson (Richard Gladden) Windsor, SC; Teresa Williams Aiken, SC; and Audrey Williams Windsor, SC. One grandson: James Frank (Tonia Thomas) Dickerson, Jr. Windsor, SC. One granddaughter: Tierra S. Williams, Windsor, SC. One great grandson: Corion Dickerson, Windsor, SC. Two adopted grandsons: Trey Gaines, and Leon Anthony Mercer, New Ellenton, SC. One sister: Geneva Williams, Aiken, SC. Two sisters-in-law: Mary (Abner) Johnson, Elizabeth (Johnnie) Simmons Aiken, SC. Four brothers-in-law: Howard Toole, Jr., Aiken, SC, Alonzo (Mary) Toole, Bath, SC, Henry Toole, and Norman (Yvonne) Toole, Aiken, SC. Two special cousins: Jerry (Patricia) Williams and Ollie Mae Johnson, Augusta, GA. A host of nieces, nephews, and sorrowing family and friends.
