Joyce Annette Ward Hubbard
GLOVERVILLE, SC - Mrs. Joyce Annette Ward Hubbard, 69, beloved wife of forty-three years to Garry Hubbard, entered into rest on Saturday, November 1st, 2014.
Born in and a lifelong resident of Aiken County, SC, she was a daughter of the late John Henry, Sr. and the late Thelma Louise Cooper Ward. She was a former Cook and was of the Pentecostal faith. Joyce enjoyed cooking, crocheting and watching television.
In addition to her husband and parents, family members include her children, the late Raymond Barry Ward, Lamar (Carla) Ward, Langley, SC, Patricia (Reggie Long) Hubbard, Augusta, GA, Tammy (Robert) Gregory, Langley, SC and Tonya (Willie, Sr.) Hair, Gloverville, SC; siblings, the late John Henry Ward, Jr., Betty Moody, Aiken, SC and Tommy L. Ward, Aiken, SC; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, November 6th, 2014, at 1 o'clock in the chapel of Hatcher Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Langley, SC, with Pastor Jim Tirko officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Graniteville, SC. Pallbearers will be Reggie Long, Willie Hair, Sr., Robert Gregory, Lamar Ward, Daniel McIntosh and Steve McIntosh.
